Biography
Bay Area roots. Global reach. 17 years in the battlefield of litigation.
Raised in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, Oktober describes himself as Bay all the way. He attended John F. Kennedy University beginning in 2004, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double focus in Natural Science — Living Systems and Psychology. His senior project examined the Psychopathology of Violent Behavior — an early signal of the forensic instincts that would define his legal career.
Oktober went straight from his undergraduate studies into law school, graduating and passing the California Bar Exam in 2009. In the seventeen years since, he has built a litigation practice spanning criminal law, immigration law, torts, malpractice, contracts, intellectual property, real property, and cybersecurity and compliance — a breadth that allows him to see the full legal landscape of any matter, not just the corner of it.
With 17+ years in the battlefield of litigation, Oktober brings a battle-tested tenacity to every case he takes. Today he divides his time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Germany, where his sons live — a transatlantic life that informs everything about how he practices: he understands what it means to navigate systems that were not built with you in mind.
